Therapy for Anxiety

When worry runs the show, therapy can help you feel steadier, more present, and more in control.

Anxiety can look like constant worry, racing thoughts, restlessness, trouble sleeping, or a body that feels perpetually on alert. It is one of the most common reasons people reach out, and it responds well to therapy.

Together we work to understand what fuels your anxiety, build practical tools to quiet it, and help you reconnect with the present instead of bracing for what might go wrong.

Therapy for anxiety may help if you experience

  • Persistent worry or a mind that won't switch off
  • Panic, racing heart, or physical tension
  • Avoidance of situations that feel overwhelming
  • Trouble sleeping, focusing, or relaxing

How we work

How I work with anxiety

I draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to identify and shift the thought patterns that fuel anxiety, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you relate to anxious thoughts differently rather than fight them.

Mindfulness and somatic practices help calm an activated nervous system, so relief is felt in the body as well as the mind.
