Therapy for Substance Use

A judgment-free space to explore your relationship with substances and what you want it to look like.

Concerns about substance use exist on a spectrum, and change is rarely all-or-nothing. Whether you're questioning a pattern, cutting back, or maintaining recovery, therapy can help.

I offer a non-judgmental, harm-reduction-informed space to understand what substances are doing for you, address underlying stress or pain, and move toward the changes you choose.

Therapy for substance use may help if you

  • Feel your use has become hard to control
  • Use substances to cope with stress, anxiety, or pain
  • Want to cut back, pause, or maintain recovery
  • Are navigating change without judgment or pressure

How we work

How I work with substance use

My approach is collaborative and meets you where you are. We look at the role substances play, build coping tools with CBT and mindfulness, and use ACT and values work to strengthen motivation for change.

Care is harm-reduction-informed: your goals guide the work, whether that's moderation, abstinence, or simply understanding yourself better.
